This position requires some after hours non-traditional working hours including on-call scheduling and response.Frequent travel throughout Ward County is required.To succeed in this position you should have a passion for serving others and a desire to make a positive impact. As a Temporary Maintenance Technician, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance. You will complete highway maintenance duties, which include roadway repairs, assisting in installing, repairing, and maintaining highway signs and guardrails. To complete these tasks and others assigned, you will operate power tools and other equipment to perform maintenance duties. Part of this job is to keep the roadways clear of any hazards, this includes litter, waste, debris, garbage.
