WEATHER-RELATED ANNOUNCEMENT: 7:10 a.m. CT Update 

North Dakota Health and Human Services’ (HHS) offices in Fargo and Grand Forks and outreach office in Grafton that directly serve clients will delay opening until 10 a.m. CT today, Dec. 27 due to hazardous road conditions.

HHS offices in Bismarck and Jamestown and outreach office in Valley City that directly serve clients will delay opening until noon CT today. Details appear below.  

IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for immediate help. Available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

IMPACTED OFFICES:

Bismarck region: West Central Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Bismarck will delay opening until noon.

Fargo region: Southeast Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Fargo will delay opening until 10 a.m.

Grand Forks/Grafton region: Northeast Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Grand Forks and NEHSC’s outreach office in Grafton will delay opening until 10 a.m.

The Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton is open and not affected by this delayed opening. 

Jamestown region: South Central Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Jamestown and SCHSC’s outreach office in Valley City will delay opening until noon.

The North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown is open and not affected by this delayed opening.

Office closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.

Weather-related office closure information can be found on the HHS Facebook and Twitter pages and website at hhs.nd.gov. Child support customers can conduct normal business 24-hours a day on the program’s secure website.
